Farnsworth Spacing
Characters play at 15 WPM rhythm with extra spacing between them. Works at all difficulty levels — trains your ear to hear the correct dit-dah gestalt of each character rather than counting individual beeps. Recommended for all learners below 15 WPM.
How the Audio Quiz Works
Three difficulty levels — each covering different types of Morse knowledge, all tested by ear.
All 26 letters, 10 digits, 8 punctuation marks. Easy distractors (different lengths). Free visual hint shows the pattern for 5 seconds. Auto-plays each question. 20 questions.
Same 44 characters plus 4 prosigns (AR, SK, BT, KN). Confusable-pair distractors — same rhythm length, harder to distinguish. Visual hint available but costs 1 point. 20 questions.
All 10 prosigns + 20 Q-codes + common Morse abbreviations. Q-codes play as Morse beeps — pick the meaning. 12-second timer. No hints. 25 questions.
Hear the beeps
Each question auto-plays when it appears. The big button replays at any time. Space bar also triggers play/stop. No visual pattern is shown until after you answer.

Four answer buttons appear below. Press 1–4 on your keyboard or tap a button. The correct pattern is revealed as a visual after you answer — in all cases.
Visual hint
Stuck? Tap "Show Pattern" to briefly display the dot-dash pattern. Beginner: free, shows for 5 seconds. Intermediate: costs 1 point, shows for 3 seconds. Advanced: unavailable.
Farnsworth timing
Enable in settings. Characters play at 15 WPM rhythm (correct sound shape) but with extra gaps between them. Trains your ear to hear the pattern rather than counting beeps. Highly recommended for beginners.
Weak spot tracking
Characters you miss more than 35% of the time appear twice as often in the next session. Results show your top 5 weak characters. "Drill Weak Spots" button starts a focused session.
